Start with the tutorial world and get comfortable with the three core moves: jumping, wall climbing and the roly-poly ball roll. Collect lasagna as you go so the Yum-o-meter stays full, then spend a few minutes learning how costume swaps open new routes. Each costume changes how Garfield moves, so swap based on the gap in front of you: the turkey costume glides across long air gaps, the surfer costume rides water surfaces, and the cowboy costume swings across with its lasso. The main path is clearable in any costume, but side lasagna and hidden pickups often need one specific ability.

Story achievements unlock naturally as you clear worlds. Collection achievements require every lasagna in a level (Bottomless Stomach) and 10,000 Snacks in total. Movement feats like the one-minute roly-poly take practice, and the Time Attack mastery achievements are the rarest, held by only 0.1%-0.4% of players. There are three themed worlds - Vegetable Nightmare, Sweet Kingdom and Barbecue Desert - holding 40+ levels in total plus optional side levels. Time Attack replays cleared levels against the clock, turning familiar routes into speed challenges with target splits to beat.
